Jeremiah 4:25-27

New International Version

²⁵ I looked, and there were no people;
    every bird in the sky had flown away.^(A)
26 I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert;^(B)
    all its towns lay in ruins^(C)
    before the Lord, before his fierce anger.^(D)

“The whole land will be ruined,^(E)
    though I will not destroy^(F) it completely.
